This Holy Holiday season, my hope for each of you is all the best that God has to offer. Whether you celebrate the Feast of the Dedication of the Temple, known as Hanukkah or the birth of our Savior on Christmas, it’s all about light, life and love. May you be blessed by this poem and have a Happy Hanukkah, a Merry Christmas and a Joyful New Year with much health and happiness in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
Light, Life and Love
The Light broke through the darkness
Filling the void in all of its starkness
With just His Word came the Light of Life
Out of heaven came Love shining bright
Love came down through a heavenly birth
Love that renews the face of the earth
God’s Holy Breath descended like a dove
On the Light of Life to teach us to love
A love so great that He suffered and died
He conquered our sin and death is defied
The Light of the World brought eternal life
To all who accept His gift without price
Born in a manger and died on the cross
He gave us his Spirit to clean up our dross
To turn darkness to light, with a gift of new life
Jesus our Savior bears all of our strife
Bringing peace on earth and goodwill toward man
‘Twas the Father’s plan before the world began
May Your Christmas be filled with Light, Life and Love
And a Joyful New Year blessed from above!
