Being called according to God’s purpose is following Jesus. And He says that if you love Him, you will obey Him and love people.
I believe it was God’s purpose for me to recall this story to proclaim His goodness and his glory for such a time as this.
Father God allows us to go through tough circumstances because when we come out on the other side (and we will), we find purpose in our pain.
We all have to grow up sometime and deal with the real world. I have arrived, and in some sense, one that only God can make sense of, it’s all good.
When aspects of our life become burdensome or repulsive, we lay them down in surrender to Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to complete His good work in us.
His glory is displayed in those who call themselves Christians because the Holy Spirit dwells within, helping them maintain peace with God.
The problem with fighting against flesh and blood is that we become part of the problem, unable to discern truth from the “real problem”.
Be thankful in all circumstances! Sometimes, when we are feeling the heat as we are struggling to keep our cool, the last thing on our minds is being thankful.
The people that God puts in your life are there to help you get closer to God. They are your “destiny helpers”, to encourage you, love you, or even annoy you.
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available for you to conquer whatever is keeping you from possessing the land, the abundant life God promised.
